Recess is over!!
It’s time for you to step up and get serious about your life and your goals.
You’ve talked about it enough. And you’ve dreamed about it long enough. It’s time for you to sh** or get off the pot. Seriously.
It’s not cute for you to continue to talk about what you want to do or what you’re gonna do. It’s time to show the world what you ARE doing. It’s time for you to start defying the odds. It’s time for you to impress your d@mn self.
So what if you fall?? So what if you make a mistake? Oh?! You thought you were special and God was going to make this easy for you? No. that’s not how this works. Show me one person who has a great marriage, a great career, and thriving business, or has a fit, fine, and fabulous body who didn’t experience setbacks, failures, or disappointments? I’ll wait.
Recess is over. Throw your excuses in the trash and get to work. When excuses, laziness, and distractions begin to cause you to go back into your comfort zone and convince you to shrink back to the size of a peanut, I want you to smack all of those negative thoughts in the face with the following truths:
- You are who you think you are. You can do what you believe you can do. So tell yourself that YOU GOT THIS!
- Remind yourself that you are MADE FOR THIS!
- Every single thing is working together for your good. Even the painful things.
- You have to grow. If you’re not growing, you’re dying.
- You can’t do it alone. You’re not supposed to do it alone. That is why God gave you the Holy Spirit, Angels, mentors, and guides.
No more pity parties. No more feeling sorry for yourself. No more watching everyone else win. Your time is NOW! Don’t let this moment slip away from you.
